Activity Nutramil complex® Protein is a food for special medical purposes. The product is a composition of essential nutrients - proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, micro- and macroelements. It is a supplement to everyday diet. It contains three sources of high-value protein with diversified kinetics of absorption - whey protein concentrate, calcium caseinate and whey protein isolate. The sources of carbohydrates in the product are corn maltodextrins, which, similarly to protein, have varied absorption rate. The source of fats are vegetable oils providing long chain triglycerides (LCT) and essential fatty acids and medium chain triglycerides (MCT) which are easily available source of energy for people for whom it is important i.e. undernourished or cachexia. The digestion of medium chain triglycerides (MCT) does not require lipase and bile, which is important for people with functional pancreatic disorders characterized by impaired fat absorption, among others. Gluten-free, non-GMO. Clinically lactose free. The product is intended for dietary management in conditions with increased requirements for protein: in malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition related to disease (including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, anorexia, extensive burns); during convalescence; in diseases which make chewing and swallowing difficult; in problems with self-preparation and meal consumption; short-term, severe diseases (e.g. influenza, cold with severe course of the disease); in conditions requiring higher intake of protein; in conditions requiring higher intake of protein during the period of convalescence. B1, chromium(III) chloride and its hexahydrate, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, color - titanium dioxide. Dosage Depends on individual body energy requirements. As a supplement to a daily diet it is recommended to administer 1-3 sachets per day (300 - 900 kcal), unless otherwise recommended by a doctor or dietician. Directions for preparation: in order to prepare 200 ml of ready-made meal, add slowly the contents of 1 sachet to a container containing 150 ml of boiled water at room temperature, stirring continuously until the powder is completely dissolved.
