Composition 1 tablet contains: 30mg of acetylsalicylic acid and excipients.Indications Acesan is a preparation recommended, among others, in the prevention of myocardial infarction, stroke, embolic and thrombotic complications.
Indications for use of Acesan: - prevention of myocardial infarction in patients with multiple risk factors,- prevention of thromboembolic complications after vascular interventions,- prevention of stroke,- in angina pectoris,- prevention of thromboembolic complications after fresh myocardial infarction.
Activity The active ingredient in this medication is acetylsalicylic acid, which inhibits the ability of platelets to aggregate and form clots. Acetylsalicylic acid belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX-1), which is necessary for the synthesis of thromboxane A2 (TXA2), the main factor causing platelets to clump together. Dosage Tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor, taken orally, preferably before meals, with plenty of liquid.
