Indications for use Septolete Cherry is recommended for the topical treatment of mild oral and pharyngeal infections (pharyngitis, laryngitis, early stages of palatine tonsillitis). Dosage This medicine should always be used as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose of Septolete Junior in adults and children over 12 years of age is 8 lozenges per day. Up to 4 lozenges a day are recommended for children over 4 years of age and up to 6 lozenges a day for children between 10 and 12 years of age. A lozenge should be sucked every 3 to 4 hours.Do not take the medicine immediately before or during eating. If you feel that the effect of Septolete Junior is too strong or too weak, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Composition The active substance of the medicine is cetylpyridinium chloride. Each lozenge contains 1.2 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride.
The other ingredients of the medicine are: liquid maltitol (dry matter), maltitol, mannitol, levomenthol, lemon oil, wild cherry flavor, natural red color (Cochineal, E 120), glycerol, castor oil, colloidal silica anhydrous, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E 171), povidone, Capol 600.
