Characteristics
Zatoxin Rinse is a medical device in the form of sachets for making nasal and sinus rinse solution. Each sachet included in the Zatoxin Rinse kit provides a solution of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate to thoroughly cleanse the nose and sinuses of lingering secretions, allergens and pathogens, thereby reducing the accumulation of agents that can cause infections. Sodium bicarbonate provides an appropriate, slightly alkaline pH of the solution. This ingredient dilutes thick secretions and promotes faster removal of debris from the nasal cavity. The medical device Zatoxin Rinse moisturizes dry and irritated nasal and sinus mucosa. The use of the hypertonic solution further reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane and the feeling of pressure in the sinuses, making it easier to breathe and remove secretions to the outside.
Application
Adults and children over 4 years of age. Children may use the kit only under adult supervision. In case of sinusitis, in rhinitis of various origins, before and after nasal and sinus surgery and prophylactically, to maintain nasal and sinus hygiene. Dosage: dissolve 1 sachet in 240 ml of boiled water at body temperature to prepare an isotonic irrigation solution. If necessary, in case of severe symptoms such as a bothersome feeling of a blocked nose. Dosage: dissolve 2 sachets in 240 ml of boiled water at body temperature, which allows you to prepare a hypertonic solution for irrigation. To carry out rinsing in an adult, use 120 ml of solution for each nasal opening. When carrying out rinsing in children, use 60 ml of solution for each nasal opening. The remainder of the unused solution should be poured away. Frequency of use of the kit: carry out nasal rinsing 1-2 times a day as indicated by the doctor, prophylactically use 2-3 times a week.
How to use
Open the protective pouch and remove all components of the bottle-irrigator. Before using the bottle-irrigator for the first time, rinse its components under running water. Pour the contents of 1 sachet into the bottle to prepare an isotonic solution or 2 sachets to prepare a hypertonic solution. Fill the bottle with boiled water (at a body temperature of about 36.6°C) to the level marked with the line 240 ml. Thoroughly cap the bottle using the white cap and stir the solution by shaking the bottle (plug the nozzle opening with your finger) until the powder is completely dissolved in the water. Choose the appropriate tip according to the age of the user and the type of irrigation you want to carry out (classic tip - for adults, gentle irrigation tip for children). Stand in a slightly tilted position over the sink, turn the irrigator upside down and apply the irrigator tip to the nasal opening so that it seals the nasal opening. Remember to breathe through your mouth while rinsing. Press the white valve on the bottom of the bottle with your finger to allow a steady flow of the rinse solution (120 ml per nasal opening - adults; 60 ml per nasal opening - children), at the same time regulate the flow of the solution with gentle side-to-side movements of the head so that the solution that entered the nose flows out the other nasal opening. The above action should be repeated for the second nasal opening. Do not swallow the solution. After finishing the rinse, clean your nose by blowing. Each time after finishing the rinse, disassemble the irrigation bottle and thoroughly wash all its components - rinse with clean, hot water (up to 100°C, do not boil the components!). Then all the elements need to be wiped with a paper towel, a clean cloth or air-dried. Store at room temperature, in a dry place inaccessible to children.
