Activity Hydrogen peroxide, under the influence of enzymes found in tissues and many bacteria, breaks down into water and active atomic oxygen. This reaction occurs rapidly in the presence of blood, among other things. The released oxygen creates foam and removes microorganisms from the disinfected area, destroys blood cells flowing from the wound as well as cells exposed due to skin damage, mechanically cleanses for the remains of damaged tissue.Gel has a bactericidal effect within 1 minute on Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Peroxygel 3.0 is also fungicidal against pathogenic yeasts, especially Candida albicans, and fungi.Dosage Apply 0.5-1 cm of gel directly to the wound, abrasion or scratch. When dry, it forms a protective layer in the form of a soft membrane dressing. The preparation has thermo-reversible properties. At temperatures below 20°C and above 45°C it is a liquid. When applied to the skin, it takes the form of a gel. Contraindications Do not use in a patient who is hypersensitive to any of the preparation's ingredients.
