Indications Espumisan is a medication for flatulence and gas that can be used in the symptomatic treatment of digestive disorders. The preparation is also an auxiliary agent for preparing patients for various abdominal examinations (ultrasound, gastroscopy, radiological examination). The drug can be also used after abdominal surgery. Activity The preparation effectively eliminates the occurrence of gases in the gastrointestinal mucosa and reduces the feeling of pressure and fullness in the abdominal cavity.
Dosage Children over 6 years of age and adults: 2 capsules maximum 3-4 times a day. As a preparatory aid: 2 capsules 3 times daily, the day before the study and 2 capsules in the morning, on an empty stomach on the day of the study. Composition 1 capsule contains: 40mg of simethicone and other ingredients of the medicine: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, gelatin, glycerol 85%, sunset yellow (E110), quinoline yellow (E104) Contraindications The medicine must not be used by people with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the medicine and to 4-hydroxybenzoate.
