Indications When bloating and excessive intestinal gas occur, in preparation of the patient for certain X-ray and ultrasound examinations. Action Esputicon contains the active ingredient dimethicone, which is a low surface tension compound that changes the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. It causes larger gas bubbles to fragment into small bubbles that are more easily absorbed. When given orally, it relieves bloating and removes excess gas from the gastrointestinal tract. Dosage Usual dosage: 4 times daily 1 capsule after meals and before bedtime, 3 times daily 2 capsules if needed. Composition 1 capsule contains: active substance: dimethicone 50mg and excipients: colloidal silica anhydrous, gelatin, glycerol, purified oat. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients.
