Indications for use The medicinal product Rennie Antacidum is used for the symptomatic treatment of complaints associated with hyperacidity of gastric juice, such as heartburn, indigestion, flatulence, nausea, a feeling of fullness or heaviness in the epigastrium, and belching. Active substance: calcii carbonas , magnesium carbonicum Composition The active substances of the medicine are: calcium carbonate and magnesium heavy carbonate.
The other ingredients of the medicine are: sucrose, gelled corn starch, potato starch, magnesium stearate, talc, liquid paraffin light, mint flavor (mint oil, maltodextrin, acacia gum, silicon dioxide), lemon flavor (lemon oil, maltodextrin, water). Dosage This medicine should always be taken as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is Adults and children over 12 years of age 1 to 2 tablets at a time, 1 hour after meals and before bedtime.Do not take more than 11 tablets per day. How to take Take orally, tablets may be sucked or chewed. If you experience heartburn or pain associated with hyperacidity, you may take an additional one or two tablets between the usual dosing times. Avoid long-term use.
