Characteristics
Primabiotic Sodium Butyrate 300 mg is a food for special medical use in the form of micropellets containing sodium butyrate, including 80% butyric acid. Butyric acid belongs to the group of short-chain fatty acids. Under physiological conditions, it is produced in the large intestine by bacterial fermentation of dietary fiber (fiber).
Indications
Primabiotic Sodium Butyrate 300 mg is intended for the dietary management of: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS); disorders of the intestinal microbiota, e.g. after antibiotic therapy;inflammatory bowel diseases; functional disorders from the gastrointestinal tract such as: chronic constipation, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, diarrhea; diseases of the large intestine proceeding with atrophic changes in the mucosa; nutritional deficiencies, e.g. during the use of diets low in dietary fiber (low-fiber diet).
How to use
Adults: 1 capsule twice daily, in the morning and evening. It is recommended to use for at least 3 months. Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule once a day, preferably in the evening. It is recommended to use for at least 6 weeks. Use strictly according to the instructions for use. The capsule should be swallowed whole by drinking water. It is best to take during a meal.
