Indications FEMINUM fit vaginal gel is intended to be used to restore and maintain the natural balance of the vaginal environment. The preparation also prevents the occurrence of discomfort in the intimate area associated with disturbance of this balance. Factors that may have disturbed the natural vaginal environment include: antibiotic therapy, frequent irrigation, prolonged menstruation, frequent sexual intercourse, hormonal contraception, stress. FEMINUM fit vaginal gel is recommended during oral antibiotic therapy and after the completion of oral and vaginal antibiotic therapy. In addition, the gel reduces discomfort associated with vaginal dryness (e.g. during intercourse), enables gynecological examinations and, when used in small amounts, facilitates the application of tampons, vaginal tablets and temperature measurement.
ActionAction FEMINUM fit vaginal gel contains glycogen of plant origin which is a source of nutrients for lactic acid bacteria, thus in a natural way supports their growth and restoration of bacterial flora maintaining appropriately acidic vaginal pH. At the same time the low pH of the gel helps to restore and maintain the physiological balance of the intimate area and limit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, soothing unpleasant symptoms and discomfort. FEMINUM fit gel, due to its moisturizing properties, eliminates deficiencies in the natural vaginal lubrication and thus protects against abrasions that often lead to vaginal and external genital infections. An adequate amount of mucus in the vagina allows a woman to have painless and satisfying sexual contacts with her partner. However, in the case of vaginal dryness, during intercourse, abrasions of the mucous membrane often occur. Vaginal walls are then exposed to pathogenic bacteria which can cause inflammation and infections. Dosage Directions for use: FEMINUM fit gel is recommended to be applied both vaginally and externally to the genitals once a day (preferably at night) or directly before intercourse. When using the gel to restore the natural balance of the intimate area, if the symptoms do not improve over a period of several days, consult a doctor. External use: a thin layer of the gel should be applied on the external genitals and the surrounding area. For hygienic reasons, it is recommended to apply the preparation in the direction from the vagina to the anus. After use, close the tube tightly. Vaginal use: Vaginal use is facilitated by the attached applicator. To use it, screw the applicator into the tube, remove the protective cap and squeeze out the gel to fill the applicator. Insert the applicator into the vagina, press the tube again so that the gel enters the vaginal canal. After use, clean the applicator (preferably by squeezing a small amount of gel through the opening and wiping it with soft paper) and replace the protective cap.
