Vitamin D is needed for normal bone growth and development in children. In addition, it helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and for proper muscle function. Vitamin D also helps in the proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, in maintaining normal levels of calcium in the blood, as well as in the proper functioning of the immune system.
For children 1 year of age and older, supplementation with vitamin D in a dose of 600-1000 IU/day, depending on body weight, is recommended during the months of September-April or throughout the year if efficient dermal synthesis of vitamin D during the summer months is not ensured.
Application
The preparation is recommended for children 1 year of age and older to supplement their diet with vitamin D3.
Recommended intake
Children 1 year and older - 1 twist-off capsule daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily allowance. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet. Maintaining good health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
How to take
twist and tear off the tip of the capsule, then squeeze the contents into your child's mouth, onto a spoon or into food. Use caution so that the child does not swallow the capsule.
Ingredients
Refined sunflower oil, MCT (medium chain triglycerides) oil, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). Envelope ingredients: gelatin, humectant: glycerol.
A daily serving (1 capsule) contains: 25 µg (1000 IU, 500% of the reference intake value) of vitamin D3.
Storage: store at room temperature in a dry and dark place. Dietary supplements should be kept out of reach of small children. Protect from light.
